Electrical Design Engineer
Location: Basildon
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per year + Training, Development, Progression
Are you an Electrical Design Engineer able to produce electrical wiring and layout diagrams using AutoCAD or EPLAN?
This well-established manufacturer is looking for a Design Engineer to support the Automation department on Electrical Control Systems and drawing transitions. You'll join a well-structured design department.
The company is a leader in machinery engineering/manufacturing supporting high-volume production for a range of industries. They work closely with clients to meet their demands and produce high-quality equipment through design, manufacture, test, and service. Due to continued success, they are looking to expand the team.
The role involves liaising with engineering teams to design and deliver projects. You will review technical proposals, identify areas for improvements, cost reduction, and efficiency. Take part in design and review meetings to ensure quality, agreement, and safety compliance. Assist with drawing transition, standards, and updates. A good understanding of automated production is advantageous.

The Role:
1. Electrical Design Engineer
2. Development of product & project design
3. Electrical wiring drawings and panel layouts
4. Manage database of electrical devices and support BoMs, Components, Cable, Terminals etc.
Candidate Requirements:
1. Degree in Electrical Engineering
2. Control System Design and Automation Production
3. AutoCAD Electrical/EPLAN
