Hours: 29 hours per week (Tuesday – Friday)
Salary: £13.63 per hour
Duration: ASAP until the end of May
We are looking for an organised and customer-focused Business and Customer Support Assistant to join our client’s team. This role plays a vital part in ensuring our customers receive high-quality service and support while also assisting in key business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Be the first point of contact for customers, providing excellent service via phone, face-to-face, online, or in our buildings.
* Connect customers to appropriate professional services and ensure they receive accurate information.
* Process customer requests in line with our guidance, policies, and legislation.
* Support the improvement of working processes to enhance customer experience.
* Format documents such as reports, letters, and mail merges.
* Accurately enter, process, and manage sensitive data across different systems.
* Maintain and organise electronic and physical filing systems.
* Process orders, invoices, cash, and payments while following financial protocols.
* Record, reconcile, and generate financial records, including invoices and outstanding payments.
* Assist in the coordination of project tasks, documentation, and continuous process improvements.
* Provide data and reports to support business decision-making
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
* Strong analytical skills to collate and organise data for business insights.
* Understanding of process improvements to enhance customer service and efficiency.
* Clear and concise communication skills (both written and verbal).
* Strong interpersonal skills with experience in delivering customer service across multiple channels.
