A great opportunity has arisen to appoint a motivated, enthusiastic and hardworking Secure Services Receptionist to our existing team at our Adult Secure Unit. We are looking for someone who enjoys meeting people, has a pleasant telephone manner, is able to work using their own initiative as well as working within a small team with the ability to cope during busy times. Working at Ravenswood House, in this role you will be the first point of contact for all service users, staff and visitors to the unit and will be responsible for responding to all telephone enquiries appropriately.
Under the supervision of the Reception Manager the successful candidate will be responsible for the provision of a quality customer care service and will provide effective and efficient functioning of the safety and security systems within reception.
You will be expected to portray yourself in a manner which positively reflects the values of Trust and in a way, which will ensure that effective customer care exists with internal and external stakeholders.
Previous experience of working within a reception is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Main duties of the job
Under the supervision of the reception manager the post holder will be responsible for the provision of a quality customer care service to all visitors, employees and service users to Ravenswood House.
Acting as the first point of contact for all visitors and service users to Ravenswood House as well as responding to all telephone enquiries appropriately, whilst portraying themselves in a manner which positively reflects the values of the organisation and in a way, which will ensure that effective customer care exists with internal and external stakeholders.
Ensuring that the integrity of the safety and security provisions are maintained and appropriate procedures are adhered to in the event of a security breach or safety related incident.
Acting as the main point of contact for all visitors, members of the general public and visitors to the unit.
Providing effective and efficient functioning of the safety and security systems within reception.
Receiving and distributing unit and trust internal post and external post.

The secure reception is staffed on a rota basis from through to 7 days a week (including bank holidays). This position is for per week (2 weekday shifts and alternate weekend work) or 28 hours per week(3 weekday shifts and alternate weekend work) per week.
