To support this, we are looking to hire a Service Designer. In this role, you will bring design, strategy, product, technology, and creativity skills to help the business solve problems, create transformative customer experiences and deliver business ambitions. We’ll ask you to be accountable for service design deliverables including Discovery Sessions and Service Blueprints for initiatives you are working on whilst supporting the product owner to deliver the right thing at the right time. You’ll work across the enterprise as well as supporting the Aegon UK Change Portfolio. You’ll be working in a complex environment and will have to flex between macro themes and detailed insights to ensure that Aegon build valuable journeys to its customer, employers and advisers. We’d love to hear from you if you have: A background in design thinking, human-centred design, service design methodologies, including inclusive and accessible design approaches. Ability to work across the end-to-end Customer Experience (digital and non-digital touchpoints) and through the supporting business process, technology, data and policies. Ability to deal with ambiguity and complex and messy scenarios, bringing simplicity, clarity and coherence through design processes. Collaborative design techniques and workshop planning and facilitation skills. Lead creative and outcome-based design activity. Ability to deeply understand client needs, pain points, and behaviours to inform and reflect on the design process. Experience working in partnership with project teams, product owners and service owners - designing exceptional customer experiences and great customer outcomes. Excellent stakeholder engagement and management skills at Director, Architect and Senior Management Level. Qualitative analysis (market/user research) and quantitative analysis (data analytics) skills. Experience in design and modelling Tools (for example Figma, Miro, Figma, SNOW). A curious mindset, willing to challenge, try, fail and adapt. What’s in it for you?
