Lead our warehouse team in delivering life-saving pharmaceuticals with precision and care.
Your Role
This role will lead, manage and co-ordinate the DFC Pharma Warehouse team to maintain service delivery to ensure that K&N delivers high standards of service delivery and performance and reinforce the commitment to process and performance management. The Team Leader will manage the DFC Pharma Warehouse containing Medicinal products, hazardous products and medical devices and ensure the successful execution of the main service delivery outputs of receipts, storage, maintenance and issues in accordance with the Defence Logistics Framework.
Your Responsibilities
* Assist the DFC Pharma Operations First Line Manager in the conduct of their responsibilities, and deputising as necessary.
* Operate Warehouse Management System functionality to ensure that operational system requirements are met, this will, at a high level include: receipting, put away, despatching, wave creation, order assignment, stock assignment, dock assignment, exception management, exception investigation & system task management/hygiene.
* Manage and develop the team through PPR completion, to ensure succession planning/talent management is in place.
* Plan the daily workload and ensure that time and attendance matters are managed.
* Monitor internal and external KPIs, ensuring that they are met and improved upon. Build positive customer relationships and respond constructively to customer requests and internal departments.
* Maintain controls for returned and damaged stock.
* Compile Warehouse Management System activity data to create weekly reports.
* Manage resource levels, overtime, and agency labour across the warehouse.
* Manage various system hygiene tasks.
* Actively contribute towards continuous improvement projects and ideas.
* Comply with all instructed Safe Working Practices including the reporting of all accidents and incidents within the workplace.
