B&NES, Swindon and Wiltshire CAMHS have a real ethos of compassionate leadership and kindness. We are happy to support an element of home based working but we also have returned to having face-to-face meetings as we believe this is key to well functioning teams. We believe in open and honest dialogue and supporting each other to make the best decisions for our patients and staff. We also work very closely with our commissioners from the Integrated Care Board who are very passionate about ensuring we are well supported to deliver an excellent service. We have access to a robust internal training programme as well as a dedicated CAMHS training lead who will support you whilst new in post. You will work with the Team Manager to ensure the successful and effective day-to-day management of the Service so that it provides a responsive, high quality service to patients with common mental health problems. As Deputy Team Manager, you will have specific lead areas of responsibility whilst also maintaining effective links with mental health leads, childrens services, public health and other stake holders. You will support the team in identifying, and in conjunction with the Clinical Lead, addressing training and development needs for the service. The Deputy Team Manager will act as a key person to support the team with advice and signposting in relation to safeguarding and risk management. The role will involve supporting the Team Manager in liaising with stakeholders, managing staff and resources and meeting stringent data collection requirements. If you are a CBT therapist, you will hold a small caseload of CBT cases. The Deputy Team manager also contributes to the promotion of staff well-being and morale in the Team through developing and maintaining supportive relationships. You will also be required to be part of the on-call rota as a Senior Mental Health Professional.
