The Opportunity
As an embedded software engineer, you will:
1. Design and implement efficient real-time systems
2. Understand and apply new and emerging technologies
3. Work on diverse projects spanning a range of domains including Array Processing, Communications, and Sensors
Skills
Ideally, you will have:
1. Expertise in C and/or C++ for embedded development
2. Experience with unit and system testing
3. Expertise in embedded Linux platform development
4. Experience with modern DevOps practices, including version control and continuous integration
5. Knowledge of the latest System on Chip (SoC) devices
It would be useful but not essential to have:
1. Expertise in development and implementation of Digital Signal Processing (DSP) algorithms
2. Experience in modelling/simulating algorithms using MATLAB
3. Knowledge of the latest open source frameworks like OpenCPI
4. Knowledge of the latest Software Defined Radio (SDR) platforms
It would also be desirable to have an awareness of:
* Electronic warfare
