To strengthen our team, KARL STORZ Endoscopy (UK) Ltd have a vacancy for an Assistant Accountant based in our Dundee office.
The primary responsibility of this role is to provide support to the Senior Management Accountant in the preparation of Sales & Statistical Reporting and other Ad Hoc Management reports. To provide support for the Financial Controller in the processing of a wide variety of accounting documents such as invoices, departmental billing, employee reimbursements and cash receipts.
Qualifications, skills and experience must include:
* Ability to work calmly under pressure.
* Basic understanding of accounting.
* Previous experience in a similar role carrying out the range of duties detailed above.
* IT skills including the ability to use Microsoft Office Suite including Excel (e.g. pivot tables), Outlook and Databases.
* Use of accountancy packages (SAP would be desirable).
About You:
* Do you have strong knowledge of accounting principles, reconciliations, and financial reporting?
* Do you have previous experience in an accounting or finance role, ideally in a regulated industry such as medical devices, healthcare, or pharmaceuticals?
* Have you worked in a fast-paced finance department, supporting month-end close, accounts payable, or budgeting?
* Do you pride yourself on accuracy and have a keen eye for detail in financial transactions?
* Are you able to spot discrepancies and proactively resolve them?
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £29,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid – Minimum of 3 days working in the office)
