Requirements:
* Minimum one year's experience in a similar role.
* GCSE Maths and English or equivalent qualification.
Key Responsibilities:
* Administrative Support :
o Provide comprehensive administration support to the Hospital Speciality Training Department.
o Manage diary appointments and coordinate meetings.
o Handle correspondence, including sorting and responding to mail as appropriate.
o Assist with minute taking during meetings and arrange logistics for events.
* Communication and Relationship Skills :
o Maintain effective communication with staff at all levels, ensuring confidentiality and professionalism.
o Address inquiries from clients and stakeholders, providing non-clinical advice as needed.
* Planning and Organisational Skills :
o Book venues, speakers, and equipment for events in line with NIMDTA policies while ensuring value for money.
o Coordinate travel arrangements for Lead Educators and external visitors according to established guidelines.
* Quality Improvement :
o Participate in quality improvement activities within the department.
o Identify risks within the department and report these to management.
Working Hours:
* Band 3 - Full-time position.
* Rate of pay is £11.67 per hour, with weekly payments and an expected rate increase to coincide with the National Minimum Wage.
