We are excited to share a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Head of New Business to join the Procter Street Team. This is a pivotal role, ideal for an individual with a background in the Construction and Civil Engineering industries, looking to contribute to the growth of Procter Street whilst maintaining the relationships with our invested clients.
The role:
As the Head of New Business, you will play a key role in identifying and securing new business opportunities, managing relationships with existing clients, and driving sales for Procter Street’s professional service offerings to the Construction sector. Our services include, Opportunity Finder, Work Winning, Project Management, Programme & Project Controls, Commercial Services, and Resource Solutions.
Main responsibilities:
* Proactively identify and reach out to potential customers in the Construction sector, showcasing our services.
* Develop long-lasting relationships with existing clients and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
* Utilise your network and industry knowledge to bring in new business leads and manage the sales process from lead to closure.
* Create and implement a business development strategy that effectively targets the Construction sector
* Present and demonstrate the benefits and features of the company's services to potential clients.
What are we looking for?
You will have an evident history of working in a business development capacity in the Construction sector, with the ability to implement a strategic approach to secure new and repeat business. As well as:
* Proven experience in business development in the Construction sector (essential)
* Existing network of contacts within this sector
* Strong communication and negotiation skills
* Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule effectively
* Strong presentational skills
* An innovative approach to sales
* Impeccable industry knowledge of the Construction sector
* Driving licence and willingness to travel
