As my client strives to become Europe's leading independent provider of IT infrastructure services, they aim to grow our sales team in the Data Center and Hybrid technologies space. We're looking for an exceptional Head of Sales to lead a team of Solution Sales Specialists. Our Data Center & Hybrid business helps customers access and deploy world-class infrastructure to support their applications and data, driving their business forward.
As Head of Sales, you will lead a team of approximately 8 Sales Specialists, supporting them in driving campaigns and opportunities with some of the world’s largest organizations. You will play an instrumental role in constructing and closing deals. As a sales leader, you will lead by example, spending significant time with customers and developing your team into a high-performing sales force.
What You’ll Do
* Drive the Data Center & Hybrid value proposition to our enterprise customers from a leadership perspective.
* Qualify, construct, and close high-complexity technology and professional services deals with major customers.
* Support, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team, from graduates to 20+ year sales experts.
* Work with strategic vendor partnerships to identify new opportunities for collaboration.
* Build lasting relationships with key stakeholders at identified customers.
* Be an internal expert on our core Data Center & Hybrid go-to-market propositions and advocate for them within the sales community.
* Support the growth of the Data Center & Hybrid Solution Area and meet its sales targets.
* Assist the Solution Area Director with team strategy.
* Represent Computacenter at NetApp partner boards and forums, attend relevant events and conferences, and act as a point of technical escalation within the business, ensuring this knowledge is shared across the company.
* Engage with a broad virtual team across Computacenter, including Account Managers, Client Directors, Professional Services, Solution Leaders, and Architects, to help customers access and procure key technology solutions and services.
What You’ll Need
* Previous experience managing an enterprise-level sales team.
* Relevant experience in the Data Center & Hybrid market, whether from a reseller, services provider, or vendor background.
* Front-line sales experience with relevant technologies or solutions.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Strong commercial acumen, good negotiation skills, and an understanding of complex sales cycles and governance processes.
* An extensive network within the Data Center & Hybrid partner community.
