ICT Services are seeking to recruit a number of ICT First and Second Line Officers to provide hardware, software, and network support to users within the City Council and Schools in order to complement existing ICT support services.
We are looking for individuals who have a customer-centric approach to provide 1st & 2nd line technical support to NCC employees and Schools. This will be carried out either face to face, via remote access, phone, or email.
You will need to have the ability to make decisions independently to implement fixes and solutions, resolve issues, prioritize calls, or escalate with your own or other teams.
You should have an awareness of one or more of the following: Windows, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, PC hardware components and their installation and configuration within a networked environment. It would be desirable for candidates to possess some knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory.
This post requires individuals with high levels of communication skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines, on your own initiative as well as part of a team.
