HR and Site Administrator
Location: Bardon Hill
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 40 hours (Flexible Hours)
Salary: £12.95
Type: Temporary - Permanent
This is a great opportunity for a highly organised individual used to working in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. You will take ownership and coordination of the local HR and site administrative functions, ensuring a consistent, functional approach with accuracy and reliability of information.
Duties
1. Overseeing the clocking system (daily records, absences, holidays), issuing access fobs, and administering the system.
2. Assisting with new starter processes (right-to-work checks, forms), agency hours and invoices, job descriptions, listings, interviews, and onboarding.
3. Managing new starter inductions, probation monitoring, leaver processes, and exit interviews.
4. Maintaining records, producing letters and reports, managing the paperless filing system, and handling administrative queries (emails, calls).
5. Organising internal/external training, supporting engagement activities, administering surveys, and coordinating apprenticeships.
6. Assisting with complaints, return-to-work interviews, policy interpretation, and low-level employee relations matters.
7. Ordering supplies, managing uniforms, updating notice boards, and facilitating internal HR training.
8. Monitoring absence levels, producing HR data and statistics, improving administrative processes, and supporting HR projects.
9. Supporting with policy updates, occupational health referrals, and handling ad-hoc duties as needed.
The Candidate
1. HR experience is essential.
2. Experience of working within a Logistics or 3PL organisation desired.
3. Current, clean driving license and access to a car - occasional travel to other sites may be required.
4. CIPD level 3 or 5 desirable - not essential.
5. Enthusiasm, drive, and a can-do attitude.
6. Accuracy and attention to detail.
7. Good communication skills.
