Job Description Controls System Engineer / Controls Engineer / Automation Engineer Norfolk, Norwich £40,000 - £50,000 Hybrid Role - Global Travel required Controls System Engineer / Controls Engineer / Automation Engineer (Robotics and PLC specialist) will be responsible for delivering engineering work packages contributing to successful project delivery and to successfully design and program control systems. The controls Engineer (Robotics and PLC specialist) will be reporting directly to the Managing Director. Must be commutable to their site in Norwich. Controls System Engineer / Controls Engineer / Automation Engineer Package £40,000 - £50,000 Working away uplift Pension scheme Holidays 25 days (Plus Bank Holiday) Controls System Engineer / Controls Engineer / Automation Engineer Role The Controls Engineer (Robotics and PLC specialist) will deal with Electrical / controls concept design including Functional Design Specification, safety Requirements specification etc To develop, install and commission high level PLC, servo and HMI software including robotics The Controls Engineer (Robotics and PLC specialist) will hand over to the Hardware design team and review of designs produced will also deal with the configuration deliverables for e.g. PLC / HMI / SCADA / Robot / Drives / BMS / etc. Completing Factory Acceptance Testing, Commissioning and Site Acceptance Testing. Produce, install and commission PLC and servo motion code to suit machine specifications. Produce, install and commission Robot control code to suit machine specifications. Produce, install and commission HMI code to suit machine specifications. Controls System Engineer / Controls Engineer / Automation Engineer Required Minimum HND / Foundation Degree in Electrical Engineering / Mechatronics Minimum of 5 years in a similar role Working knowslegde of Rockwell and Siemens PLCs A good understanding of control system design and implementation principles. Working from Norwich site, with regular international travel
