Position: Play Leader
As a Play Leader with Dream Big Sports, your duties & responsibilities will include:
1. Planning, delivering and evaluating a well-structured and progressive Wraparound Care programme.
2. Delivering integrative and high-quality sessions and activities.
3. Ensuring professionalism in interactions with children, parents, colleagues and schools.
4. Safeguarding the well-being of children, following safety procedures and policies.
5. Teaching relevant skills and techniques to enhance participants learning.
6. Evaluating and assessing sessions, maintaining records and ensuring a positive and inclusive environment.
7. Completing relevant risk assessments and logs to ensure safety of participants.
8. Taking appropriate steps to identify and overcome barriers to participation.
9. Attending professional development where required for the role.
10. Being a positive role model, creating a positive and engaging environment which encourages participation in sport and physical activity.
11. Being a brand ambassador, demonstrating our company values.
12. Assisting with the promotion of other Dream Big Sports products and services.
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for the role, you will need to have the following:
Personal Attributes

4. Able to plan, organise and facilitate high quality sports and physical activity sessions.

Knowledge & Experience
1. Knowledge of the policies and procedures in place at a Wraparound Care setting.
2. Minimum of 1 years' experience delivering sessions at a Wraparound Care setting.
3. Experience of using IT Software to complete administrative tasks.
Qualifications
Essential
1. 1x Level 3 NVQ Childcare or equivalent qualification
2. First Aid Certificate
3. Safeguarding Qualification
4. Current Enhanced DBS Check
Desirable
1. Driving licence & access to own form of transport
2. Relevant Level 2 Qualification (or working towards)
