As a recovery specialist and court officer, you will work as part of a team dealing with the collection of council tax arrears in accordance with the Council Tax (Administration and Enforcement) Regulations 1992.
As part of the job, you will be required to attend the Magistrates’ and County Court. You will need to be confident, have excellent negotiation and communication skills, and have the ability to be firm but fair in applying the law.
You must be able to deal with difficult situations in a calm and courteous manner. In the role, you will provide advice and support to the recovery team. You must have a good level of IT competency.
