We wish to appoint a housekeeper to join our 28 bedded ward within the Division of Specialist Services, who has a 'can-do' approach, enthusiasm, high standards and understands the importance of a clean, well organised, equipped clinical area. The post is on a permanent basis for 28.5 hours per week with a shift pattern of Monday to Sunday. Responsibilities The Post holder will be responsible for maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness on the ward, maintaining stock levels and completing regular stock-take audits, ordering Ward supplies, providing refreshments to post-op patients, and completing daily/weekly checks as per infection control guidelines. Duties Assist in monitoring and maintaining cleaning standards on the ward. Ensure the ward is safe and tidy at all times. Prepare and serve hot and cold drinks and food. Check the ward has sufficient stock and order Ward supplies. Respect the privacy and dignity of patients whilst carrying out household duties.
