The opportunity:
We are working on MBDA's change programme to migrate from SAP ECC6 to SAP S/4HANA across our group of businesses. This programme will affect a number of domain areas and the implementation of S/4HANA will provide an opportunity for each domain to review its use of existing tools and resolve a roadmap for consolidation across the group and deliver the outstanding tools for our business users.
This role will focus on ensuring a successful roll out of S/4HANA across the MBDA Quality teams in the UK, in addition to supporting the full implementation of S/4HANA Quality capabilities within the MBDA Group system. The role will require working with the Group Quality teams, the programme core team, the overall Systems Integrator and other internal collaborators.
Working with and handling key collaborators both inside and outside the business will be key to delivering a successful solution. An ability to communicate a vision for the deployment and support the teams to learn how to improve the performance of the new system will form part of the key deliverables.
While you must be able to work independently and be comfortable making decisions, you can expect support from across the business, including at senior levels, to deliver this significant wide-ranging change programme.
A genuinely exciting role for a determined individual to drive real change into the business whilst pursuing career growth.
Role Responsibilities:
* See opportunities to improve Quality processes and maximise the benefits of S/4HANA within the Quality team by working closely with colleagues to ensure high level of knowledge and understanding is achieved across the National Companies Quality teams.
* Support the Quality input to the design and implementation of a harmonised process that can be implemented in S/4HANA. You will co-ordinate with others to leverage and improve a single data source that provides context and detail to contribute to the process.
* Achieving consensus of their processes and NatCo processes and the project issues and outputs, and communicating it to the Process Lead.
* Deliver a common set of S/4HANA Quality capabilities across the MBDA National Companies, within the boundaries of the defined common template by acting as the key UK Quality point of contact supporting the Process Lead collaborating with the overall Systems Integrator.
* Represent Quality within the core team and ensure that Quality requirements are truly considered in the roll out of the wider programme.
* Co-ordinate activities to meet the program plan and deal with any changes in a systematic way.
* Supporting program meetings as requested by the Process and Program Leads, crafting a realistic plan for the Quality part of the project.
* Work with internal and external partners to deliver high level capability and ensure all current and any future benefits are realised.
* Status and progress reporting on risk, issues, scope changes and quality concerns.
* Support knowledge share and skill-set growth within the quality team.
What we're looking for from you:
* Experience in a Quality role.
* Experience with S/4HANA and/or other SAP products.
* Experience in handling ERP roll-outs.
* Shown success in leading SAP S/4HANA programs or similar initiatives.
* Proven track record in project management, with the ability to handle sophisticated process analysis.
* Change management experience and a strong grasp of organisations dynamics.
* Experience working in an international environment.
* Ability to define and articulate a vision.
* Proactive and assertive in an international setting.
* Excellent communication and planning skills.
* Comfortable making decisions for change, where limited information may be available.
