Key Responsibilities: Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication needs (SLCN). Develop and implement tailored therapy plans to support individual student progress. Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to create a holistic approach to student development. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions, making adjustments as needed. Provide training and support to school staff in communication strategies and interventions. Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of assessments, therapy sessions, and progress. Stay informed of best practices and emerging research in speech and language therapy. Qualifications and Experience: HCPC registration as a Speech and Language Therapist (essential). Experience working with children or young people with SLCN (desirable). Knowledge of evidence-based interventions for speech and language development. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
