The Service Engineer will have to work on his own or part of a team. The main stream activity is the service of electrical and automated lifting equipment, indoor and outdoor.
You have a significant experience on lifting equipment, being of a mechanical main stream proven skills with some basic electrical knowledges.
Fault finding, analysis of the electrical wiring, being able to report a fault on the automation, and isolate an electrical device to a safe status.
Work on normal working hours on week days, with possible call out at nights and over weekends on routa basis.
* BTEC or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering, and up to Bachelor in Electrical and Automation with the relevant 18th Edition up to date.
* 5 years minimum experience, with customer relationships, from an integrated maintenance service team or an outsourced service company.
* CSCS, Safety Passport, Asbestos, Harness and Work at Height. Full clean driving licence mandatory.
* Fluent in English, able to read and write short technical report and intervention job cards
* Literate with tablet and smartphone technology, daily used for job reports.
* Enthusiast, patient, communicative. Good interpersonal relationship with coworkers, ability for lonely work as well as being part of a team. Ability to lead intervention and jobs would be an asset
* Knowledge in automation and programming would be an asset, and some capabilities in
programming or identify any programing faults would be appreciated.
Very good communication skills are awaited, and a fine understanding of the audience to report to is mandatory
