We are recruiting a contracts manager for our client with emphasis on fire stopping. Reporting to the Branch Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the management and delivery of a number of projects ranging from £40k to £2M, ensuring efficent and timely completions. Requirements: Previous experience in a Contracts Manager role A thorough knowledge of up to date legislation and Fire stopping products. Ability to undertake site surveys to scope and find solutions to the issues presented Understanding of the importance of collating evidence for all completed works using systems such as bolster or site audit pro. Capable of overseeing numerous projects and the management of both directly employed operatives and sub-contractors. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to produce health & safety documentation in line with current legislation. Excellent people management skills Suitable Contract Manager qualifications SMSTS Ideally you will have a Surveying/Building degree or equivalent qualification and experience in contract management in a maintenance/refurbishment environment.
