Job Description:
Team Leader – Children’s Residential (CSE)
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of vulnerable young people? Do you have the strength, compassion, and leadership skills to guide a team through some of the most rewarding – and challenging – work in children’s residential care?
We’re looking for a Team Leader to join our dedicated team in a specialist Children’s Residential home that supports young people affected by Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE). This is more than a job – it’s a chance to be a positive force in the lives of young people who need consistency, safety, and someone to believe in them.
What You’ll Do:
1. Lead, inspire and support a team of residential care workers
2. Provide structure and guidance in the day-to-day running of the home
3. Build strong, trusting relationships with young people aged 10–17
4. Support the Registered Manager with audits, rota planning and safeguarding
5. Act as a positive role model, promoting resilience, recovery, and independence
6. Ensure the highest standards of care in line with Ofsted, safeguarding, and trauma-informed practice
What We’re Looking For:
1. Experience working in a Children’s Residential setting (preferably with CSE)
2. Minimum Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
3. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
4. Resilience, empathy, and emotional intelligence
5. A commitment to safeguarding and child protection
What We Offer:
1. Competitive salary with sleep-in bonuses
2. Fully funded training and ongoing professional development
3. Clear career progression pathway
4. Supportive and trauma-informed management team
5. A chance to genuinely change lives every single day
Ready to step up and lead with heart?
