About the Role
We have two 9 month fixed term contract opportunities in our Change of Tenancy team. In these customer facing/operational roles you will be responsible for the management of the change of customer process, ensuring all allocated sites have appropriate terms of supply and any changes are recorded accurately. Working as part of the Customer Data Change of Tenancy team, the roles will interface between the Shared Service Centre (SSC) and the back-office operational teams to ensure our customers and partners receive the highest standard of service at all times and that performance levels are achieved.
These are Hybrid roles assigned to our Leeds office where the successful candidates would be based two days a week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package and the chance to make a difference in the energy transition.
Key Responsibilities
1. Managing Loss Notifications on a rota.
2. Assisting the recoveries and collections team with Warrant chat on warrant days, validating leases.
3. Investigating and identifying potential change of customers and processing the setup of change of customers (CoC’s).
4. Accurate and timely management of Customer Data Query tickets.
5. Ensuring all deemed and any other change to contracts are set up accurately and within agreed timescales.
6. Operating all processes in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with current business and industry practices, with a focus on providing excellent customer service at all times.
7. Communicating effectively with customers, consultants, brokers, and third-party industry bodies, e.g., National Grid by phone and email.
8. Adhering to internal processes and risk frameworks and actively involving in identifying and implementing improvements.
9. Keeping management and the team updated with issues and ensuring escalations are carried out in a timely manner. Providing detailed handovers to the team at every opportunity.
10. Identifying themes of process and system issues that are creating high volumes of queries.
11. Providing support to the Credit Control team to resolve disputes in a timely manner.
12. Supporting the team with the team inbox on a rota.
Knowledge and Skills:
1. Excellent communication skills (including written and telephone skills).
2. Numerical skills.
3. Proven record of excellent customer service.
4. Able to produce accurate work within tight deadlines.
5. Organisational skills.
6. Practical approach to problem solving.
7. Ability to present information effectively.
8. Understanding of the registration processes and interdependencies between Sales and Customer Services and interfacing departments.
Experience and Qualifications
1. Preferable experience of a customer setup role.
2. GCSE Maths Grade C (or equivalent) or above.
3. GCSE English Grade C (or equivalent) or above.
