Job overview
Due to expansion in services, another opportunity has arisen to join our Specialist Rotational Pharmacy Team at Manchester University Foundation Trust Pharmacy team at Oxford Road Campus providing care to our highly specialist services at our City Centre Hospital.
This is an unbelievable chance for a highly motivated pharmacist to further develop their skills and progress their career in a nationally renowned teaching hospital trust.
Applicants must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work as part of a team whilst also managing your own workload. The role is perfect if you are innovative, enthusiastic, dynamic, flexible, and compassionate.
Main duties of the job
As the successful candidate, you will be part of the Pharmacy team providing a clinical pharmacy service and directorate responsibilities to different specialties whilst also developing our clinical pharmacy service. During your training, you will rotate through our many specialist/tertiary level services.
* Specialist Medicine including Haematology, Sexual health and HIV
* Critical Care
* Antimicrobial Stewardship
* Renal medicine and transplant
* Cardiology and Cardiothoracics
* Specialist Surgery
* Major trauma and ED
* Acute medicine
* Frailty
This post is based at Oxford Road Campus; however, there may be an opportunity in the future to rotate across all MFT pharmacy departments.
We look forward to appointing pharmacists who are GPhC registered pharmacists, have previous hospital experience, have completed their first year of the diploma or are working towards this, and possess the necessary skills to work in our clinical service in one of the largest teaching hospital trusts in the UK.

Education/Qualifications
* Vocational Master’s degree in Pharmacy or equivalent
* 1 year pre-registration training and experience
* Member of the General Pharmaceutical Council
* Post-graduate diploma in clinical pharmacy or equivalent documented clinical experience
* Certificate in Independent Prescribing
Experience
* Experience in delivering pharmaceutical care
