Cardiac high dependency and the Coronary Care unit care for emergency admissions from our local area and surrounding hospitals with acute life-threatening cardiac conditions and patients with planned cardiac procedures and operations. D3 is a cardiac surgery and cardiology ward specialising in post TAVI procedure care and high observation ward-based care for post cardiac surgery. We are a team committed to providing high quality care to all. We provide 24-hour cover 7 days per week. What youll do A phlebotomists role is to provide a high-quality phlebotomy and cannulation service that offers the best possible standards of patient care to inpatients and any other area requiring venesection/cannulation services. You will assist in the provision of individualised care, under the supervision of a qualified nurse and others in the health care professional team. You will be required to start your shift between 06:00 to 07:15, work 7.5 hours a day, with the 1 in 4 weekend cover. What were looking for You will need to be self-motivated, dynamic, with a passion for taking blood samples while delivering high quality patient care. You will have a keen eye for attention to detail and the ability to prioritise your own workload, as well as a keen learner that embraces change whilst maintaining high standards.
