Transport Manager
We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised person to join Vuba as a Transport Manager. Working in a team, you will be responsible for the organisation and distribution of goods in line with current regulations.

As a Transport Manager at Vuba, you will:
* Hold responsibility for compliance with company and statutory requirements regarding Operator License, H&S, service quality, drivers’ hours, and tacho regulations, inclusive of the working time directive.
* Comply with all relevant transport legislation covering the fleet, ensuring all vehicles are maintained in line with legal requirements and ‘O’ License requirements.
* Support new business initiatives and projects and contribute to review meetings and change processes. Ensure effective transport implementation takes place relating to the changes.
* Establish and maintain an expansive communication network with international and local logistics, ensuring that the company operates with sufficient logistics provision and meets all delivery requirements in a timely, safe, and efficient manner.
* Preserve excellent internal communication for processing & dispatch of finished products to ensure delivery targets are met.
* Manage & coordinate routes with company drivers.
* Communicate with internal stakeholders to ensure coherence.
* Manage the company's Pallet-Networks & Sub-Contractors and negotiate rates when required.
We are looking for someone who has:
* A background in Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain.
* The ability to use their own initiative and propose improvements.
* A qualification in Logistics and/or experience in a similar role.
* Proven experience of operating in a fast-paced high-volume work environment.
* CPC Essential.
Based in Beverley, the working hours are 8am - 5.30pm Monday to Thursday and 7am - 3pm Fridays.
Salary and Benefits:
* £32,000 - £39,000.
