Term Time Teachers are partnering with a primary school in Sevenoaks to find an Early Years Teacher. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day teaching and learning of all students in the class. This is a full time role which will start January 2025. As an Early Years Teacher, you will play a key role in supporting children's learning and development. You will help foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages students to build confidence while enhancing their academic skills. The school itself strive to make learning exciting whilst nurturing and developing young enquiring minds and setting high levels of expectation. They are proud to have achieved 'Excellent' in all areas in their most recent ISI inspection. Your key responsibilities as an Early Years Teacher: Develop and implement a dynamic and engaging EYFS curriculum. Provide a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment. Patience and understanding towards children's diverse needs. Be able to remain calm and composed if presented with challenging behaviour. Encourage participation of all pupils in learning and extracurricular activities. Work in accordance with the legal requirements and policies of the school. Safeguard and promote the welfare of pupils.Requirements: Have QTS or EYFS equivalent qualification. Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum. Have previous experience working as an Early years teacher/similar role An enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or be happy to apply. Hold the Right to Work in the UK.
