Our Burton Latimer site has an exciting opportunity for a Transport Administrator to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.
Salary: £23,678 per annum.
Working hours: Sunday-Thursday, 10pm-6am.
The purpose of a Transport Administrator is to provide administrative support and create accurate data, with the ability to work to deadlines and contribute to the overall success of the site.
Key Duties of a Transport Administrator:
1. Contribute to the success of the site by ensuring that all POD and Return processes are carried out in accordance with the site policy documents.
2. Book in collections for customers and complete relevant paperwork.
3. Book in deliveries for customers.
4. Investigate any collection queries.
5. Ensure all paperwork is returned for all customer deliveries dispatched from site, and chase outstanding PODs.
6. Liaise with staff at other depots and external contacts.
7. Photocopy, print, organize and store documents and computer-based information.
8. Manage inbound diary for all customers.
9. Monitor daily the clean POD workflow.
10. Control period-end spreadsheets.
11. Compile lists of outstanding PODs and contact the hauliers to request.
12. Report the PODs outstanding each day.
