Position Title: Commercial Gas Engineer Salary: up to £55,000 per year Location: Watford and surrounding areas Introduction to the Role: We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team in the Watford area. This role offers the opportunity to work with a leading company in the commercial gas sector, providing maintenance, installation, and service work on a wide range of commercial gas systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial gas engineering, a commitment to health and safety standards, and be passionate about delivering high-quality services to our clients. Job Responsibilities: Conduct installation, servicing, and maintenance of commercial heating systems, boilers, and other gas-powered appliances in commercial buildings. Perform diagnostics and repair work on a variety of commercial gas systems. Ensure all work meets the required safety standards and compliance regulations. Provide excellent customer service, addressing client needs and providing advice on gas safety. Complete all necessary paperwork, including service reports, certificates, and maintenance schedules. Liaise with clients, ensuring that the company’s services are delivered professionally and efficiently. Participate in an on-call rota for emergency call-outs as required. Follow company policies and procedures at all times. Key Requirements Commercial Gas Tickets: CCN1, CEN1, CPA1, CODNCO1, and other relevant commercial gas certifications. Full Commercial Gas Safety qualifications (Commercial Gas Tickets). Experience: Proven experience in commercial gas engineering, including installation, maintenance, and fault-finding. Experience working on a variety of commercial properties such as office buildings, retail spaces, and industrial sites. Technical Skills: Excellent knowledge of commercial gas systems, including boilers, heating systems, and appliances. Competence in using diagnostic tools and equipment. Understanding of gas safety regulations and a commitment to adhering to health and safety protocols. Other Qualifications: Valid Full UK Driver’s License. Gas Safe Registration. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and customer service skills. Desirable: Previous experience working in a commercial setting.
