The Role & Key Responsibilities
From your first day with us you will be part of a policing family making a real difference.
It is our mission to identify and protect vulnerable people, prevent and respond to harm and keep people safe.
In this role you will be sorting all Fixed Penalty Tickets (FPT); Traffic Offence Reports (TORs), Penalty Notice For Disorders (PNDs), Crime and non-Crime files, Collision files, Vehicle Defect Rectification (VDRS) received force wide and distribute to the relevant departments within CTSU in a timely manner. To provide a complete postal tracking service with audit trails, for both incoming and outgoing urgent, high value, important or critical items. To order and supply Districts with Traffic Offence Reports, VDRs and Penalty Notice for Disorder Tickets and maintain levels of stock. To order high volumes of consumables, stationary and office equipment for CTSU i.e.; File Build, Camera Technicians, Collisions, Enquiry Officers and Sussex Safer Roads Partnership. To attend court when required and give concise, factual evidence on behalf of Sussex Safer Roads Partnership (SSRP) and Sussex Police. Undertake other duties appropriate to the grade and character of work as may be reasonably required, including specific duties of a similar or lesser graded post.
