We have a wonderful long-term nanny role available in Sevenoaks, Kent, caring for one delightful three-year-old little girl. Your working hours will be from 8am until 6pm Monday to Friday; however, whilst their daughter is at school, there will be days where you are not required to work but will still be on call. This will be a support role as Mum (and sometimes Dad) will be at home most of the time, running the home and caring for her daughter.
Your duties will cover assisting with organising and attending age-appropriate groups and classes, creating and engaging in fun and stimulating games and crafts for their daughter at home, helping with bathtime, feeding, nursery duties, and preparing healthy meals. Their daughter attends nursery for three days per week, excluding normal school holiday periods. Whilst she is at nursery, there will be time for you to do child-based organisation and child-related housework at home, including her meal prepping and shopping. The family employ a full-time housekeeper, though on occasion some light housework would be appreciated if required.
The ideal nanny will be fun, bubbly, engaging, adaptable, and professional, who can become an integral part of the family. The couple are considering a second child in the near future, so it is important you have good knowledge and experience with newborns.
Their little girl is very friendly and inquisitive, with a great sense of humour. She enjoys many activities including reading, crafts, physical games, and activities as well as playing outdoors. She loves nature and animals and is happy to engage in activities with others but is also good at playing independently. She sleeps and eats well and is generally very easy-going.
It is important you are happy to travel with the family and have previous experience with this. The family don’t usually travel for more than two weeks at a time and like to enjoy plenty of their own time with their daughter on holiday. When traveling with the family, you will be required to cover planning and organising all aspects of care for their daughter, but again in a shared supporting role with her parents, ensuring her safety comes first. You will be provided with your own separate comfortable accommodation and will have some free time to relax.
It is essential you are a careful and confident driver with your own car, as the property is in a rural location. However, there can be a car provided for you to use whilst on duty. The family are planning to move into Sevenoaks town itself in the near future for easier access to schools and services.
This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced qualified nanny to work for a very appreciative and generous family. The family are happy to offer you a £250 CPC budget and discretionary bonuses.
