Based in Loughborough University London’s Student Recruitment and Marketing team, no two days are likely to be the same for our new Marketing Assistant.
You’ll be busy supporting a wide range of marketing activity and getting involved in the day-to-day practicalities of engaging with potential postgraduate students, communicating key messages to current students, and supporting academics and professional service staff in achieving their goals through marketing and recruitment activity.
In this role, you’ll play a vital part in managing and updating our website content, ensuring it remains engaging and relevant. You’ll contribute to the creation of compelling marketing materials, including videos, blogs, testimonials, and social media content. Supporting the planning and execution of marketing campaigns and student recruitment activity will be key aspects of your work.
You’ll also assist with event coordination, from in-person open days to online webinars, providing logistical and administrative support to ensure successful delivery. Managing enquiries through various communication channels and collaborating with student ambassadors to create timely, on-brand content will be central to your responsibilities.
We’re looking for someone with strong organisational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive, collaborative mindset. Experience in marketing, content creation, or event management would be beneficial, along with excellent communication skills and a flair for creative storytelling.
You will need to have a natural ability to connect with people at all levels and have the desire to use and/or develop practical skills across the marketing and promotional mixes, most notably social media, content creation and events. You will thrive as Marketing Assistant if you enjoy a fast-paced environment, can work collaboratively or individually, and are customer focussed.
