ExxonMobil has operated in the U.K. for more than 135 years. We are best known today for the marketing of our Esso fuels and Mobil 1 lubricants and for our petrochemicals. We have refining and chemical operations in the UK, we operate the UK’s biggest private pipeline network and we retain a non-operated share in a number of fields in the North Sea. More recently, we are developing our involvement in lower emission projects in the UK, building on our experience in carbon capture and storage (CCS), hydrogen production and biofuels.
We are currently seeking talented Analyser Technicians to work as part of the Maintenance Team at ExxonMobil’s Fawley Refinery.
The largest refinery in the UK, Fawley is a combined refining, lubricants and chemicals manufacturing site.
To be considered for a Maintenance position, the ideal candidate will need to be confident, conscientious, and able to work both on their own and as part of a team. We’re seeking individuals able to demonstrate commitment to working to exacting standards, always paying rigorous attention to safety.
Prior experience in the Oil, Gas or Petrochemical industries is preferred but not essential.
Analyser Technician candidates should have experience in Preventative Maintenance, Break-down repair and Calibration of online process analysers and associated equipment.

* Work experience on electrical equipment in hazardous areas.
* Candidates must be current residents of the United Kingdom or willing to relocate at their own expense.
* Applicants must have valid authorization to work in the United Kingdom at the time of application.
Preferred Qualifications/ Experience
Preferred Qualifications/ Experience:
* Completion of a recognized craft apprenticeship (preferably Instrument / Analyzers).
* Gas Chromatograph’s – various manufacturers (ABB/Siemens/Daniels).
* Physical property analyses – Sulphur/Flash/Distillation/RVP/Cloud and Octane measurement (knock engines).
* Fault finding and repair of Sample Handling Systems, and analyzer shelters.
