Our mission is to deliver world-class and exceptional acro classes for children across the UK and globally. As we expand our footprint, we aim to establish new locations, furthering our commitment to accessible, high-quality acrobatic education.
In addition to our classes and training, we offer a range of tailored resources, including branded apparel, air-based equipment, and student journals, designed to enhance the learning experience. Our dynamic and inclusive approach positions us as a leader in the children’s activities and performing arts space, while our planned franchising model ensures consistency and scalability as we grow.
Position Overview
The Operations Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth functioning across all locations and supporting the successful rollout of new private sites. This role involves streamlining processes, managing staff, and implementing strategies to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Key Responsiblities
Operational Management
* Seek and implement new development opportunities for new locations.
* Oversee daily operations across all current and new Acrotrix locations, ensuring adherence to company standards.
* Develop, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures to ensure consistency.
* Manage scheduling, staffing, and coordination of class cover where necessary.
* Handle stock orders, equipment management, and logistical needs.
Team Leadership
* Supervise, train, and motivate staff to achieve optimal performance.
* Organise training, team meetings, and staff development initiatives.
* Manage recruitment, payroll, and general HR duties for team members.
* Foster a positive working environment that encourages collaboration and innovation.
Reporting and Analysis
* Monitor and report on revenue, marketing performance, and operational efficiency.
* Analyse data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for growth.
Quality Assurance
* Ensure compliance with health and safety standards across all sites.
* Drive retention strategies, including student appraisal processes and parent feedback mechanisms.
* Regularly assess and maintain high teaching and safety standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Proven experience in operations management, preferably within the children’s activities, performing arts, or fitness sectors.
* Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
* Familiarity with relevant software tools for scheduling, payroll, and reporting.
* Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality
Ideal Candidate
Experience
* Previous experience in client success, account management, or a related field, preferably within children’s activities sectors or service industries.
* Demonstrated success in managing client relationships and driving client satisfaction.
Education
* GCSEs with grades 9-5 (A*-C) or equivalent
* Higher Education preferred
Skills
* Proven experience in operations management, preferably within the children’s activities, performing arts, or fitness sectors.
* Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
* Familiarity with relevant software tools for scheduling, payroll, and reporting.
* Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality
* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships.
* Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Suite.
* Familiarity with ChatGPT/AI models is a plus.

Remuneration
Salary: £35,000 - £42,000 pa
