We are looking for a confident and skilled professional with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work in a School which is committed to enhancing language and communication skills throughout the curriculum. You will ideally have some experience working with children with a diagnosis of autism preferably in an educational setting. You will: assess communication and language abilities of pupils on your caseload and offer advice and recommendations to staff and parents work collaboratively with teachers to plan, deliver and evaluate language and communication activities across a number of curriculum areas be involved in training staff in aspects of language and communication development work collaboratively with the Speech and Language Therapist and Speech and Language Therapy Apprentice/Assistant We can offer professional supervision, a highly supportive team of teachers and classroom assistants, an environment that values language and communication skills, training and development opportunities, and the expertise of our in-house Speech and Language team.
