Role Overview:
You will play a crucial role in supporting students with special educational needs, helping them to achieve their full potential. You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to create a nurturing and effective learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with SEN
- Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
- Support classroom activities and help manage student behaviour
- Collaborate with teachers to adapt learning materials to meet the needs of students
- Monitor and report on student progress to teachers and parents
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children with special educational needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with SEN
- Relevant qualifications or training in special education
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
