Finance Manager | Education | Cheshire | Excellent benefits Overview: Castlefield Recruitment are pleased to be working with a Cheshire based Education body in order to recruit a Finance Manager on a permanent basis, where you’ll be responsible for day-to-day accounting operations and controls. This is a hands-on position that requires an experienced finance professional with a keen eye for detail and excellent organisational skills. Role: As the Finance Manager you’ll lead a small Finance Team to provide an excellent finance service to all areas of the organisation Responsibilities: Manage the day-to-day operation of the finance function and provide leadership and management to the finance team to deliver the full range of services Working closely with the Director of Finance and key stakeholders, assist and support in the development of a financial strategy Provide an efficient, responsive and customer-focused service to a range of users, including students, staff, governors and external stakeholders. Line manage staff in accordance with the policies using a proactive approach Assist the Director of Finance with preparing the annual budget, the Financial Forecasting Return and any other financial plans, forecasts and benchmarking returns. The successful Finance Manager will be/have: Experienced Finance professional with a proven track record of leading teams Education experience (desirable)
