Pastry Chef de Partie - Cirencester, Gloucestershire Location: THE PIG in The Cotswolds, Cirencester. OTE £14.50 per hour (inclusive of Tronc) Hours: Full-time, 45 hours per week. Contract Type: Permanent Welcome to THE PIG in the Cotswolds The Role: As Pastry Chef de Partie you will play an integral role in the overall operation of our pastry service and preperation. Ensuring a consistent delivery and standard at all times. You will be responsible for the junior staff on the section, leading by example and supporting their development. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: Oversee the effective running of our pastry service. Ensuring timescales and standards are met. Prepare an array of desserts which utilise the produce within our kitchen garden and sources from local suppliers. Work closely with the Head Chef/ Senior Sous and kitchen garden team with regards to the produce being used within the pastry section. Ensuring a clean and tidy workstation at all times. Support the development of our kitchen team, lead by example and work closely with our Apprentice Chefs. Skills & Experience : Our kitchens are busy and bustling.
