About the role
You will lead an independent research project within the Becky Mayer Centre for Phage Research, which aligns within the research goals of the Centre. The project will broadly be in the area of understanding the function of novel phage proteins. In addition, you will work with other academics within the Centre to provide guidance and support on the expression and purification of phage derived proteins.
About you
The ideal candidate will be able to manage and deliver collaborative based research projects and have a proven analytical/technical problem-solving capability. Ideally, you will have the ability to contribute to securing research funding where applicable and have the ability to work effectively as part of a team and also independently.
