The Opportunity
Are you an Electrical or Mechanical Engineer, ready to manage the production process of a busy engineering environment, for a Market Leader in Maintenance of Rolling Stock fleets of trains?
Due to an internal promotion and a growing order book, this innovative Rail Overhaul business has a requirement for a Production Engineer.
With 3 upcoming new projects, this is an opportunity for you to gain exposure to the whole project lifecycle of Rail modifications/overhauls and play an integral role in the successful completion of overhaul/modifications for their customers, delivered to compliant standards.
The Candidate:
* Hands-on engineering background with vehicles (in heavy maintenance, heavy manufacturing)
* Ability to read engineering drawings
* Understanding of Bill of Materials
* Rail experience (desirable)
* SAP/Excel experience (desirable)
Location: Milton Keynes
Salary: Up to £46,000 plus 25 days holiday plus Bank holidays, Life Assurance: 4* basic annual salary, EAP - Health Assured, Buy and sell holiday (5 days), Company shutdown over Christmas, Pension: 4.4% EE 6% ER.
