We are seeking an Oversight Analyst to ensure the effectiveness and robustness of the oversight framework for our clients IT and strategic development teams. This role involves mapping and testing controls for critical IT processes and working collaboratively with the business to enhance procedures as required.
The ideal candidate will help maintain the organisation's high standards by identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, ensuring adherence to internal processes, and meeting regulatory responsibilities. You will play a key role in developing processes and service standards to achieve a ‘best-in-class’ service.
Key Responsibilities
Oversight Framework Development
* Support the development and maintenance of an effective oversight framework for Collections & Recoveries activities, covering telephony, written, email, and digital interactions.
* Ensure compliance with internal policies, processes, and regulatory requirements such as Consumer Duty, CONC, TCF Principles, and GDPR.
* Collaborate with IT to review data and ensure processes promote positive customer outcomes, addressing and resolving risks promptly.
* Conduct monthly monitoring and control testing to verify adherence to oversight frameworks.
* Provide documented feedback to the Head of IT Compliance, Collections, and Recoveries (HoICCLR) and other departments, ensuring performance insights are communicated effectively.
* Work closely with the Compliance Team to ensure alignment with organisational and regulatory expectations.
* Build and maintain strong relationships across departments, keeping senior management informed of findings and escalating issues when necessary.
Continuous Improvement and Compliance
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of:
* The motor finance industry
* Company products, processes, and procedures
* Scorecard updates and their implications
* Use operational tools and Management Information (MI) to identify opportunities to enhance oversight activities.
* Tailor monitoring based on transactional data insights.
Operating Hours
35 hours per week
* Flexibility required to cover trading hours.
* Standard working pattern: five days per week, including weekends (as agreed with your line manager).
Business Hours:
* Monday to Friday: 8 am – 8 pm
* Saturday & Sunday: 9 am – 6 pm
Required Knowledge and Experience
Education:
* Educated to Higher/A Level standard.
Business Experience:
* IT oversight experience (motor finance sector preferred but not essential).
* Quality Assurance experience.
* Strong knowledge of CONC, TCF Principles, and GDPR.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
