The Gurdon Institute is a department of the University of Cambridge at the cutting edge of science, with 12 research groups, carrying out research on projects related to cancer and developmental biology. Main duties will include: -Acting as first point of contact for HR-related queries. -Providing HR administrative support. -Updating HR systems for recruitment, sickness, annual leave, probation, staff reviews, staff records etc. -Completing HR paperwork as required. -Organise inductions for new members of the Institute. -Setting up visitor agreements. -Acting as secretary for the Wellbeing, Inclusivity, Diversity and Equality Committee. -Provide cover for the reception team when required.
