Metrea Mission Data is now seeking a dynamic and highly motivated individual to help drive the development of a new geospatial awareness solution that will impact areas including narcotics trafficking and wildfire management.
As the UX/UI Designer, you will be responsible for:
1. Working closely with the product team to translate requirements into data-driven and intuitive designs.
2. Conducting user research, creating wireframes and prototypes, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and iterating on designs based on feedback.
3. Maintaining UX/UI consistency across products.
4. Bringing clarity to complex, data-heavy applications and streamlining workflows to modern standards.

* Experience working with a design system/UI framework.
* Vocal advocacy for design and end-user experience to stakeholders.

* Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently, planning, prioritizing, and managing your workload.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, able to communicate confidently with non-design team members.
* Experience with Agile methodologies in a software development environment.
* Experience with Figma and Azure DevOps.
Nice to have
* Experience designing, building, and maintaining UI components within a UI framework.
* Previous military experience, especially in military aviation.
* Experience working on mission planning or management systems.
Location
This is a hybrid role. Ideally, the candidate would be based on-site with the team in Harwell for a minimum of two days per week. Additional visits to customer sites or MMD offices may be required.
