Ocean Infinity is seeking an Inspection Structural Advisor who will report to the Head of Reporting and work within the data processing department while coordinating all aspects of Vertical inspection work, including assisting with tender, acquisition, processing, reporting, and training. What will you do: Act as the first point of contact for Tender in vertical inspection queries. Take the lead in project preparation for structural inspections; Guide Data Processors, Inspection coordinators and Offline Coordinators on workflows and procedures for vertical inspection work; Take an active role in designing and implementing training on the various aspects of inspection work to aid colleagues' development; Participate and oversee remote offshore Inspection work to ensure workflows remain relevant and to develop further improvements; Participate in Ocean Infinity’s internal equipment and software development; Work within the Project group to assist with reporting; Contribute to Ocean Infinity’s internal knowledge base; Initiates and participates in risk assessments as required for their field of responsibility and incorporates appropriate controls; Ensures safe working procedures are developed, followed, and updated as required; Works towards the Ocean Infinity mission and objectives by setting and following up on relevant performance indicators; Drives Ocean Infinity’s Health and safety, Environmental and Social goals and ensures that all decision-making supports those goals; Comply with Ocean Infinity Policies, practices, programs, and procedures described in the Ocean Infinity management system; Complete required training as identified by Ocean Infinity Training Program; Participates in improving the Ocean Infinity management system by reporting events, attending meetings and workshops, reporting problems, recommending improvements, and other related activities; Informs their manager/responsible person of any unidentified risks, hazards, or system deficiencies in the workplace by using Stop Work authority, Safety Observation card reporting, Incident reporting, or reporting directly to relevant personnel; Communicates and implements Ocean Infinity’s policies and procedures and their requirements to employees, visitors, and contractors; Supports Ocean Infinity’s Health and safety, Environmental and Social goals. Who you are: 3.4U CSWIP qualified and have Asset Integrity database experience with systems such as Sense, Nexus, Integrity Elements, and Apollo KnowHow; At least 20 vertical inspection projects experience in a survey environment; At least 7 years relevant experience as an Inspection Coordinator; Demonstrated experience of a variety of survey types whilst working alongside numerous Asset operators, and survey contractors. Examples of the most relevant survey types include, but are not limited to, geophysical survey; Thorough understanding of the most common inspection software used throughout the offshore industry, with particular focus on Digital video recorders (VisualSoft, SubC, DigitalEdge); Experience with the most common tooling practices used within the offshore industry. Examples of these may include, but are not limited to Flooded Member Detection (FMD), Ultrasonic Thickness Measurement (UTM), Cathodic Protection (CP) and Alternating Current Field Measurement (ACFM); Strong understanding of quality management such as standards, regulations and applicable policies and procedures; Good practical experience with office tools: MS Office, Google Drive, Teams, e-mail, among others; Ability to take ownership and engagement in the work; Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment; Strong communication skills; Critical thinking and ability to show initiative; Ability to work well in a team and independently; Enthusiastic about protecting people and the planet. Desirable: Hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering or Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Certification, certified by the Personnel Certification in NDT (PCN) or the American Society of NDT (ASNT). Salary for the position: Up to £76,000 per annum Salary : The salary varies for this position as we are recruiting in multiple regional locations and job grades.
