In this role you will support the technical team in driving Quality agenda and Continuous Improvement initiatives within the wider organisation.
This Fixed Term Contract might suit a Graduate with a year of previous experience or someone with more than a year of experience in a similar role who is looking for a short-term assignment until early 2025.
Key Responsibilities include:
1. Supporting Senior Technical and Quality Assurance Manager with management of technical aspects within LSUK, liaising with wider Supply Chain team to drive change and improve ways of working
2. Supporting wider technical team with approving artworks for the UK and ROI markets and management of the relevant data base
3. Updating ingredients, allergens and suitability info in Salsify for all new products and product changes
4. Ensuring that product related information published on the company website is always correct and up to date
5. First point of contact for technical data requests, questionnaires from wider teams in the business (B2B, Sales, Marketing and Retail)
6. Management of the documentation data base, including HFSS, Private Attestations files and other technical documentation for existing products, product specifications and ensuring these are agreed, updated as necessary and communicated to suppliers and customers in the timely manner
7. Assisting wider technical attending first productions and first production trials
8. Supporting wider technical team with maintaining and regular reviews technical documentation for Lindt Retail stores with food service operations
9. Management of the product library for the seasonal copack first production samples
What experience you’ll bring
10. BS degree (or equivalent) in Food Science or Food Technology
11. Good understanding of GMP, HACCP, Food Safety, Regulatory Compliance
12. Experience within similar role
13. Ideally previous experience of approving artworks
14. High attention to detail, methodical and well-organised and able to use initiative to drive activities independently with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
15. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
16. Ability to work with the individual at all levels within the organisation, excellent interpersonal skills
17. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and problem-solving skills
18. Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills
