After winning additional new contracts, we have a great opportunity to join our fast-growing family-run business based in Little Haywood, Stafford.
As a Grounds Maintenance Operative, you will be required to service commercial grounds maintenance contracts to the highest quality. You will be required to undertake a range of different tasks and scheduled works on a variety of sites in and around Staffordshire.
Key Accountabilities:
* Perform general grounds maintenance tasks such as push and ride on mowing, strimming, litter picking, hedge cutting, leaf clearing, etc.
* Weed spraying (PA1 & PA6 Spraying Licence desirable)
* Road gritting and snow clearing
* Undertake all grounds maintenance works to specification, achieving the highest standards at all times.
* Plant and maintain flowers, shrubs, and trees in gardens and landscaped areas.
* Operate power tools and equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, and blowers.
* Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
Skills:
* Previous horticultural experience (essential)
* UK driving licence (essential)
* Experience driving large vehicles/towing (desirable)
* Knowledge of groundskeeping practices and techniques.
* Ability to operate power tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
* Strong attention to detail to ensure the proper care of outdoor spaces.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £23,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
