Together, we can make a dent in the universe bigger than ourselves. We are now looking for driven Sales Development Representatives to join #teamgreen. As a Sales Development Representative, you will drive revenue and customer acquisition by proactively prospecting both outbound and inbound leads, qualifying opportunities, and building relationships within your assigned geographic territory. You'll work closely with Account Executives to generate new business and contribute to Matillion's growth. We value in-person collaboration here at Matillion, therefore this role will require you to spend most of the week working from our Manchester office.
What you will be doing
1. Making high volume outbound calls and emails to engage prospects
2. Meeting or exceeding quotas for meetings with qualified prospects
3. Managing inbound leads and actively seeking new opportunities within your assigned geographic territory
4. Spending time qualifying leads, understanding prospect needs, and building relationships with decision makers.
5. Partnering with Account Executives, Marketing, and Solution Architecture teams to align efforts and drive success.
What we are looking for
1. Previous experience in sales, business development or similar role in B2B SaaS.
2. Knowledge of enterprise technologies, particularly within data integration or cloud ecosystems (Snowflake, AWS, Azure, GCP, Databricks etc).
3. Familiarity with sales tools like Outreach, SalesLoft, Salesforce, Zoominfo, 6Sense etc.
4. Strong verbal and written communication skills
5. Motivated, goal-oriented, with a strong desire to succeed.
At Matillion, we are committed to providing compensation in line with market standards based on the role, job family, job level, and country. This role’s annual pay for this position is £33,500. Because this role is eligible for variable pay in the form of sales commissions, your total annual on-target earnings will be £47,500.
