Our client is a market leader in their sector in this area of the country and striving to expand further their extensive client base. A new role has been created for a Technical Salesperson to join their team. You will be joining a professional, creative, supportive, and energetic team who work closely together and are part of this ongoing success. There is plenty of technical expertise available to support you as you learn their sector, but you will come from a background of selling a technical product and/or service to transition into this role.
Responsibilities:
1. Create and expand your base of leads within a two-hour travelling distance of the business.
2. Handle the relationship all the way through to fulfilment of the project.
3. Work with a Technical Sales Team to fulfil all technical aspects of the sales process.
4. Conduct business-to-business sales through a consultative process, understanding the potential client's business and needs.
The expectation of the package is a combination of a basic salary in the region of £30-£40k per annum dependent on experience, complemented by a very generous and open-ended commission and bonus structure, which should see you potentially doubling your basic salary in overall remuneration dependent on your success.
