Printed Circuit Layout Technician - (W1125)

Responsibilities:
* Responsible for the PCB design and 90% of the layout of power supplies and related products, including associated tooling and assembly prints
* Assist and train all Jr. CAD users within the company as well as temporary help
* Construct and manage component libraries associated with the layout of power supplies
* Maintain documentation files active and archived off site
* Develop and generate assembly stage prints and assembly aids for manufacturing
* Create, control, maintain, document and format engineering documentation including Art Work and library shapes
* Make effective and efficient use of all resources including supplies, tools and tooling and equipment
* Maintain necessary records, files and reports
* Practice good housekeeping in your area
* Properly maintain equipment in good working order to include reporting defective equipment
* Follow established company rules and regulations
* Consult supervisor when unusual conditions exist and/or safety issues arise
* Perform other related duties as required
Qualifications:
Education: Minimum of a 2 year Degree in printed circuit board layout or equivalent
Experience: 2 years experience in electronics printed circuit board layout and documentation or 5-7 years equivalent experience in CAD Designing and documentation for the Electronics Industry
Skills: Ability to utilize customer and/or engineering product specifications on a PADS based system. Must have complete understanding of generating electronic schematics, artwork and Gerber files for PC Fab from engineering input. Must be capable of following written and verbal instructions and making logical sequential steps in performance of work and require minimum of supervision and direction.
