Join us as an Affiliate & Programmatic Performance Lead and you’ll be a big part of this. This role sets and delivers the strategic roadmap for the Affiliate programme (including B&Q’s influencer strategy) and all paid Performance led Display and Social adverting for B&Q & Tradepoint (across the UK and ROI). This role will deliver market-leading results using modern marketing strategies and technologies by developing integrated digital marketing campaigns from concept to execution - ensuring that customers who are in market looking for products and services are presented with the most relevant experience. This includes KPI setting and budget allocation, delivering profit for the business through ROAS improvements, ensuring B&Q & TP receives the best commercial return online and supports the business’ ambitious growth targets. Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities: Define and develop the strategy and roadmap for Affiliates, Performance Social and Display & Influencers (across UK & ROI) for B&Q and Tradepoint Accountable of budget allocation, budget phasing and KPIs to ensure continuous improvement. Drive significant revenue growth through the management of £10m online media spend. Manage relationships with internal teams and media agencies to successfully execute all campaigns on a daily basis. Develop and lead a team of three specialists. Build, optimize, and scale performance marketing campaigns for a diverse range of products and categories focusing on revenue generation, user sign-ups and lead generation while also proving the value of digital for offline/store. Conceptualize and implement optimization strategies to meet and exceed volume and ROI targets, whilst challenging the agencies to help identify new innovations. Work closely with all agencies holding them to account over performance and ensuring we have the best service by conducting regular reviews. Identify and act swiftly on opportunities to scale growth efficiently. Develop robust business plans, forecasts and business cases for any new activity or POCs. Ensure all creative and any messaging is up to date, on brand and as effective as possible through a rigorous test plan. Influence and educate the business/wider digital ecosystem on the benefits of managed channels. Stay abreast of performance industry trends and best practices in digital marketing. Contribute to other team projects and initiatives, remaining flexible and willing to contribute. Build strong relationships with leadership teams across the B&Q and Kingfisher Required Skills & Experience: Experience of driving high growth in media efficiency with large budget responsibility. Strong media strategist, communicator, and data story-teller. Highly proficient in marketing technology and extremely conversant in the detail of digital marketing channels with market leading in-depth experience and knowledge of Programmatic Retargeting, Affiliates and Influencers. Deep knowledge of digital ad platforms, DSPs, Facebook, Pinterest, and Awin, Google Analytics. Must be detail-oriented, organized, and results-driven. Deep familiarity with CPA, CPC, CPM, ROAS. Ability to set goals and execute under tight deadlines. Can see the big picture and boil it down to action that delivers results. Exceptional leadership skills with a proven track record of developing high-performing teams. Strategic relationship builder with the ability to foster collaboration and drive alignment. Passionate about customer-centricity and the importance of the digital experience. Strong understanding of e-commerce and retail industry trends.
